Summarise Your Monthly Spending Into What You Are Actually Prioritising
You have a rough idea of what you spend and a clear idea of what matters to you and the two are not quite the same. This reads the gap: where spending is high relative to satisfaction, where it matches what you actually value, the recurring cost easiest to cut, and what the spending pattern says about your actual priorities compared to your stated ones. List the spending.
List or describe your approximate monthly spending across main categories: [housing, food, transport, entertainment, subscriptions, clothing, eating out, savings, and anything else significant]. Summarise it into: (1) the three categories where you spend the most relative to what you get from them; (2) the category where the spending most closely matches how much you value it; (3) the subscription or recurring cost that is easiest to cut without reducing what you actually use; (4) what your spending says you prioritise, compared to what you would say if asked. Be direct. If the spending and the stated priorities do not match, say so.
