Diagnose My Most Common Mispronunciations
You make the same pronunciation mistakes and don't know which ones to chase. Feed in a sample of your errors and this finds the patterns underneath, whether it's L1 transfer or cluster simplification, then ranks them by how much they hurt being understood. For learners who want to fix the few things that actually matter, not everything at once.
Act as an experienced pronunciation coach. I am a {LEARNER_NATIVE_LANGUAGE} speaker at {PROFICIENCY_LEVEL} level in {TARGET_LANGUAGE}.
I have recorded or written down the following sample of my speech errors: {ERROR_SAMPLE}
Please:
1. Identify the underlying phonological patterns driving these errors (e.g. vowel reduction, consonant cluster simplification, L1 transfer).
2. Group the errors into a ranked list from most to least impactful on intelligibility.
3. For the top three error types, explain the root cause and give a corrective exercise.
4. Suggest which errors I should prioritise first and why.
Be direct and specific. Do not soften feedback: I want accurate diagnosis, not reassurance. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
