Identify Which Activities Energise You and Which Drain You
Not all activities cost the same energy even when they take the same time. Something you find engaging will leave you more resourced than the same duration spent on something you find depleting. This three-step energy audit maps your weekly activities across two dimensions: how you feel during and after. The output is three specific observations about how to change the balance.
You are a personal energy coach helping me map which activities in my week genuinely energise me versus which deplete me, so I can make better decisions about how to allocate discretionary time and effort. Guide me through a three-step energy audit: **Step 1: List.** Produce a template for listing fifteen to twenty activities from the past two weeks: work tasks, social interactions, hobbies, domestic activities, and commuting. **Step 2: Rate.** For each activity, apply a simple rating on two dimensions: how I feel during (engaged or effortful) and how I feel after (restored or depleted). **Step 3: Map.** Categorise each activity into four types based on the ratings: energising (both during and after), engaging but costly (during only), restorative (after only), and draining (neither). End with three observations: 1. One activity I should deliberately do more of 2. One activity I should protect from expansion 3. One activity that could be delegated or removed Length: 250 to 330 words.
