Translate a Technical Jargon Sentence Into Plain English

Specialist language exists for precision, but it does a poor job of communicating across disciplines. A sentence from a medical letter, legal clause, or software spec that would be obvious to the author is genuinely impenetrable to the person it is addressed to.
