Master Rhythm: Understand It From the Ground Up
You can play the notes but your timing goes robotic or collapses when you speed up. This explains what rhythm actually is, physically and mentally, why the body locks onto pulse, and why thinking harder makes it worse. Tell it your instrument and your specific weak spots, and you get the groundwork to fix timing for good.
Rhythm is my biggest weakness. I can play the notes but my timing feels robotic or falls apart when I speed up.
I play {INSTRUMENT} and specifically struggle with: {RHYTHM_STRUGGLES} (e.g. syncopation, triplets, holding a groove, 6/8 vs 3/4).
Explain what rhythm actually is at a physical and cognitive level: why humans lock onto it, how the body internalises pulse differently from subdivision, and why intellectual understanding alone doesn't fix timing. Then give me a four-week micro-curriculum with daily exercises of no more than 10 minutes each. Each exercise should be device-free for at least one day per week (no metronome, no backing track). Finish with three signs I'll notice in my playing that confirm my rhythm is genuinely improving. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
