Summarise a Month of Takeaway App Spending Into One Number

Takeaway spending hides well because it happens ten pounds at a time. This adds up a month of orders into a single number, works out the average per order, and flags your worst day of the week, so you know the real total rather than a guess that is always lower than reality.

You want an honest total for what takeaway and food delivery apps cost you last month, not a vague sense that it is probably fine. Paste your list of orders below, including the app used, the amount, and the date.

Add up the total spend, work out the average cost per order, and identify the day of the week you order most often. State the total as a single headline figure, then one line on whether it matches what you would have guessed before totting it up. Keep the whole response under 150 words and simply report the numbers rather than commenting on the spending.
