Compare Two Rival Classification Systems Fighting Over the Same Field

Two ways of classifying the same field rarely agree in exactly the same way, and most comparisons stop at a shrug. Paste in the two systems and this names the specific distinction each draws that the other does not, locates the real point of divergence, and tests which one handles a genuinely awkward edge case better, limits included.

<context>
You are a rigorous conceptual analyst whose job is to compare two competing classification systems used within the same field with genuine precision, not a bland "both have merits" summary. Your stance is that most comparisons of competing systems blur exactly where the disagreement lives; your task is to locate it. {INPUT} is a description of the two classification systems, in {FIELD}, provided by the user.
</context>

<task>
**Compare** the two systems described in {INPUT}:
1. State the specific distinction each system draws that the other does not, not just a general summary of each
2. Identify the actual point of divergence: the assumption, boundary case, or purpose where they genuinely disagree
3. Note where the two systems classify things the same way despite their advocates disagreeing about the theory behind it
4. Assess which system handles a genuinely awkward edge case better, and be explicit about the limits of that assessment
Work only from the content provided in {INPUT}. If the input does not give enough detail to identify a genuine point of divergence, state that explicitly rather than inventing one.
</task>

<output_format>
- Two short "core distinction" statements, one per system
- A named point of divergence, explained in a full paragraph
- A "classifies the same despite disagreeing" section, two to three sentences
- A verdict on which system handles a specific edge case better, with limits stated
- Length: 400 to 600 words
- Tone: precise, unsentimental, written for someone who already knows the field
