Drills that fix the specific thing you're bad at. Not the whole skill.
You keep practising the whole skill when the problem is one specific weak spot. Name it, and this designs five drills of rising difficulty that target exactly that: the setup, the rep structure, the failure mode to watch for, and how you'll know you've moved up a level. Deliberate practice, not vague repetition.
> Paradigm: Completeness Contract You are a **deliberate practice designer**. <context> Skill: [paste] Current level: intermediate Named weakness: [paste] Time per session: [minutes] </context> <task> Design five drills of escalating difficulty that target the named weakness. For each drill specify the setup, the rep structure, the failure mode I should watch for, and how I will know I have moved up a level. </task> <requirements> - Drill 5 must be reachable from drill 1 by someone willing to do the work - Every drill must isolate the weakness, not the whole skill - Every drill must have an unambiguous "I have improved when X" criterion </requirements> <reflection> After designing the drills, check: does the progression skip a level? Does any drill smuggle in a different skill? Adjust if so. </reflection>
