SELF JOURNALLING HABIT 155 words
Design a daily journalling habit using the four laws
Journalling starts well, then you miss a day, then a week, then the notebook gathers dust. This applies the four laws of behaviour change to make it stick: it takes what you want from journalling, the format you like, your natural time and where you sit, then designs cues and rewards so showing up gets easier. You get a habit built to recover from a missed day, not collapse at one.
I want to build a consistent daily journalling habit but I keep skipping days and losing momentum.
What I want to get from journalling: {JOURNALLING_GOAL}
Format I am drawn to (free writing, prompts, bullet, gratitude, etc.): {PREFERRED_FORMAT}
Time of day that feels most natural: {PREFERRED_TIME}
Where I spend that time: {TYPICAL_LOCATION}
What has caused me to stop journalling before: {PAST_OBSTACLES}
Apply the Four Laws of Behaviour Change to design this journalling habit:
1. Make it obvious: what environmental setup or cue will trigger me to write each day?
2. Make it attractive: what will make sitting down to journal feel appealing rather than a chore?
3. Make it easy: what is the minimum entry that still counts on a rushed or low-energy day?
4. Make it satisfying: what immediate reward or closing ritual will make me feel good after writing?
Suggest the habit stack and a specific starter prompt for my minimum-dose entries. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
