Identify Your Personal Energy Drains and What to Do About Them
Most people know they are tired without knowing precisely what is causing it. This runs a quick energy audit across the week: rate everything you did as energising, neutral, or draining, then look at the patterns. Which drain is largest, which is most removeable, and what to ask yourself about the one that cannot change. Useful to do once a month.
Help me identify the things in my current week that are draining my energy. Ask me to list everything I have done this week, then go through the list and ask me to rate each item as energising, neutral, or draining. Once I have completed the list, group the drains by type and tell me: which drain is costing me the most energy, which is the most likely to be reduceable or removeable, and one question I should ask myself about the one that is hardest to change. Do not offer solutions until I have finished the audit.
