Build a Watertight Argument From Scratch
You need to argue a position for a specific audience and you want it to hold up under scrutiny. This maps every factual claim and its evidence, writes the logic in explicit if-then form, then audits your own argument for fallacies before anyone else can. You get the reasoning chain laid bare, not just a tidy conclusion.
You want to argue the following position: "{POSITION}"
Your audience is: "{AUDIENCE}"
Construct a logically rigorous argument using this structure:
1. Premise mapping: list every factual claim your argument depends on and indicate the evidence for each
2. Logical structure: write out the argument in explicit if/then form to expose the inferential chain
3. Fallacy self-audit: scan your own argument for ad hominem, strawman, slippery slope, appeal to authority, and false dichotomy
4. Prebuttal: anticipate the strongest objection and address it within the argument itself
5. Hedging: explicitly state the conditions under which your conclusion would NOT hold
The finished argument should be 150 to 200 words. Prioritise precision over persuasiveness. If you cannot support a premise with evidence, flag it as an assumption. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
