Identify the Three Logical Gaps in a Creative Writing Workshop Critique

Not all workshop feedback is created equal. Some of it is a reader accurately diagnosing a problem. Some of it is a reader projecting their preferences onto work that does not share them. This separates the two, finds the internal contradictions, and identifies the one piece most likely to be genuinely useful.

I received the following workshop critique of my work and I am not sure all of it is valid:

Analyse the critique for logical quality. Specifically:
1. Identify up to three claims in the critique that are stated as fact but are actually the critic's preference or assumption
2. Identify any internal contradictions in the critique (where two pieces of advice conflict with each other)
3. Identify the one piece of feedback that is most likely to be genuinely useful and explain why
4. Suggest one question to ask the critic to get more useful feedback from a follow-up

Be honest about the limits of what can be assessed without reading the original work.
