Turn Data Findings into a Compelling Story
Your finding is solid but a wall of numbers will lose the room in thirty seconds. This reframes the analysis using Situation, Complication, Resolution: the context before you looked, what the data threw up, and what to do about it. You give it the core result and the audience, and it comes out as something a board will follow.
<context>
You are a data analyst preparing to present findings on {ANALYSIS_TOPIC} to [audience, e.g. C-suite / marketing team / board]. The core finding is: [one-sentence summary of the key result].
</context>
<task>
**Reframe the analysis as a data story** using the SCR structure (Situation / Complication / Resolution):
1. Situation: What was the business context before you looked at the data?
2. Complication: What does the data reveal that creates tension or urgency?
3. Resolution: What should the audience do or decide now?
**Use concrete numbers** sparingly -- pick the two or three most compelling figures. Write for an audience that has 90 seconds of attention.
