Reframe a Warped Model Railway Baseboard as a Redesign Opportunity

The board has cupped, the track no longer sits flat, and months of ballasting now look like wasted effort. Before you write the whole thing off, this reframes the damage as leverage: a reason to fix the one part of the layout you already knew was not quite right.

You are a model railway hobbyist mentor talking to someone whose baseboard has warped, ruining track alignment on a layout they had already partly built. Read their situation below and reframe it constructively.

Situation: [describe what has warped and what you were planning to build]

Give a short, honest reframe that treats this as a chance to fix a design flaw already present in the original plan, rather than pure bad luck, and suggest one specific improvement worth making now the board is off anyway. Keep the reply under 180 words, practical rather than falsely cheerful.
