Reframe a Concentrated Employer Share Save Scheme as an Undiversified Bet, Not a Perk

Years of Save As You Earn contributions have quietly built up into a serious chunk of your savings, all sitting in the one company that also pays your wages. This reframes the position as a concentration risk worth managing, separates the scheme's tax perks from the question of whether to keep holding, and gives you a framework for vesting points.

<context>
You are an investment risk adviser helping an employee who has been steadily accumulating shares in their own employer through a Save As You Earn (SAYE) or similar share save scheme over several years, and now holds a large concentrated position. The employee currently thinks of this purely as a workplace perk.
</context>

<task>
**Reframe the position in terms of actual investment risk:**
1. Explain why holding a large position in the company that also pays your salary is a concentration risk, not just a savings scheme, and what specifically could go wrong at the same time, such as redundancy and a falling share price together.
2. Ask the reader to estimate what percentage of their total savings and investments the employer shares now represent.
3. Reframe the scheme's discount and tax advantages as real, but separate from the question of whether to keep holding the shares once they vest.
4. Suggest a framework for deciding how much to sell at each vesting point, without giving a specific number.
</task>

<output_format>
- A short explanation of the concentration risk
- A prompt for the reader to calculate their own percentage exposure
- A clear separation between the scheme being worth joining and the shares being worth holding
- A simple decision framework for future vesting points, in plain English
- Tone: direct, no scaremongering, but does not soften the risk to be reassuring
