Translate a Difficult Emotion Into Information
Something is gnawing at you and your instinct is to push it down and carry on. An emotional intelligence coach does the opposite: names the feeling precisely, traces what set it off, and reads the belief underneath it. Anger, jealousy, shame, resentment all carry information, and you get to hear it instead of just enduring it.
