SELF LEARNING HABIT 152 words
Design a daily learning or skill-practice habit using the four laws
You want to practise every day but showing up consistently is where it falls apart. This applies the four laws of behaviour change to your chosen skill: it takes your current level, your goal, the time you can honestly give, the natural gap in your day, and what has stopped you before, then designs cues and rewards so practice becomes automatic. You get a habit built to outlast your motivation.
I want to build a daily habit of practising {SKILL_OR_SUBJECT} but I struggle to show up consistently.
My current level with this skill: {CURRENT_LEVEL}
My goal or milestone I am working toward: {TARGET_GOAL}
How much time I can realistically dedicate each day: {AVAILABLE_DAILY_TIME}
When during the day I have a natural gap: {NATURAL_GAP_IN_DAY}
What has prevented consistent practice before: {PAST_OBSTACLES}
Apply the Four Laws of Behaviour Change to design this learning habit:
1. Make it obvious: what cue or environmental trigger will reliably prompt practice time?
2. Make it attractive: what will make me look forward to sitting down to practise?
3. Make it easy: what is the minimum practice session that still moves me forward?
4. Make it satisfying: how will I track progress and reward showing up?
Also give me a progression plan: how the minimum session scales up as the habit solidifies. Be specific to my skill and schedule. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
