SELF EVENING REVIEW HABIT 161 words
Design an evening review and planning habit using the four laws
The evening review is a great idea right up until you are tired, and then it is the first thing to go. This applies the four laws of behaviour change to make it stick: it takes what you want to cover, how long you want it to run, your current evenings and where it would happen, then designs cues so reflecting on the day and planning the next becomes automatic, not another thing willpower has to win.
I want to build a reliable evening review habit, reflecting on the day and planning the next, but I often skip it when tired.
What I want to cover in my evening review: {REVIEW_COMPONENTS}
How long I want to spend on it: {TARGET_DURATION}
What my evenings currently look like: {CURRENT_EVENING_ROUTINE}
Where this would happen: {INTENDED_LOCATION}
What derails me most often in the evenings: {EVENING_OBSTACLES}
Apply the Four Laws of Behaviour Change to design this evening review habit:
1. Make it obvious: what time-based or routine-based cue will reliably trigger the review?
2. Make it attractive: what will make me look forward to this reflection rather than dread it?
3. Make it easy: what is the five-minute condensed version for nights when I have no energy?
4. Make it satisfying: what closing ritual or reward signals the day is properly done?
Also give me a template for both the full review and the abbreviated version, tailored to my goals. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
