Give Two Characters Unmistakably Different Voices
Two of your characters are talking and they sound like the same person wearing two name badges. You feed in who they are and the current draft, and you get back dialogue rebuilt so a reader knows who's speaking without a single 'he said'. Good for fiction writers whose scenes blur, and anyone stuck on flat two-handers.
I have two characters in a scene who are talking to each other, but their dialogue sounds like it could come from the same person. Help me differentiate their voices so a reader can tell who is speaking without dialogue tags.
Character A: {CHARACTER_A_DESCRIPTION} (e.g. age, background, personality, speech habits)
Character B: {CHARACTER_B_DESCRIPTION}
Scene context: {SCENE_CONTEXT}
Here is the current draft of the exchange:
{DIALOGUE_DRAFT}
Rewrite the dialogue so each character has a distinct rhythm, vocabulary level, sentence length, and verbal habit. Then write a short note (3 to 4 sentences) explaining the key differentiators you applied to each voice. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
