Frequency-Ranked Learning Plan: Work Smarter, Not Harder
You could learn ten thousand words or you could learn the few thousand that cover most of what people actually say. Tell it your hours, current level, target and timeline. It builds a plan around the right frequency band, a realistic weekly word count, and the order that gets you understanding real speech soonest. Effort spent where it counts.
I have {STUDY_HOURS} hours per week to spend on {TARGET_LANGUAGE} vocabulary and I am currently at {CURRENT_LEVEL} level. My goal is to reach {TARGET_LEVEL} within {TIMELINE}.
Using frequency-ranked vocabulary research, design a prioritised learning plan that:
1. Identifies the vocabulary frequency band I should be working in (e.g., top 1000 to 2000 most common words)
2. Estimates how many new words per week is realistic given my time budget
3. Recommends which thematic clusters within that frequency band to tackle in which order, and why
4. Flags high-frequency words I likely already know passively and can confirm quickly versus words requiring active study
5. Suggests a weekly review routine that prevents forgetting while making room for new input
Present the plan as a week-by-week roadmap for the first month, then a monthly plan thereafter. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
