Conclusion Patterns: Beyond Summary
A conclusion that just repeats the introduction wastes the last thing the reader sees. Paste your conclusion and thesis, and this checks it against tougher criteria: does it restate in fresh words, does it synthesise rather than summarise, does it open outward to a wider implication or a next question worth raising.
My essay on {ESSAY_TOPIC} ends with this conclusion:
{CONCLUSION_TEXT}
The essay's thesis was: {MAIN_THESIS}.
Evaluate the conclusion against these advanced criteria: (1) Does it restate the thesis in fresh language rather than copying it? (2) Does it synthesise, not just summarise, the key argumentative moves? (3) Does it open outward to a broader implication, research gap, or call to action appropriate for {ACADEMIC_LEVEL} writing? (4) Does it avoid introducing new evidence?
Then rewrite the conclusion using the 'Thesis-Synthesis-Implication' pattern. Show the three-part structure with labels in your rewrite so I can see the pattern clearly. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
