Study a Topic Using the Question-Led Method
Reading a chapter and then reading it again is one of the least effective ways to learn. The question-led method starts with what you need to be able to answer, not what you need to read. This sets the questions, waits for you to do the reading, tests your understanding on the hardest one, and extends it with a follow-up. The same reading covers more ground.
I want to study {TOPIC}. Help me use the question-led method rather than reading passively. First, ask me five questions about {TOPIC} that I should be able to answer once I have studied it properly. Then, after I have done some reading and come back to you, test my understanding by asking me to explain the hardest of the five questions in plain language. Tell me what I got right, what I missed, and one follow-up question that extends my understanding. Do not give me the answers upfront; the questions are the study guide. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
