Reframe the Blank Page as an Unanswered Question
Creative block is usually not the absence of ideas; it is the absence of a question the project is answering. Without the question, any start feels arbitrary, so no start happens. This names the question hidden in the unstarted project, explains why it has been blocking you, and gives you a starting point that follows from the question rather than from sheer will.
Reframe the blank page or creative block for a specific unstarted project.
For {PROJECT_DESCRIPTION} (e.g. a short story you have been putting off, a piece of music you want to write, a painting series you have not begun), generate:
1. The question the project is trying to answer (not the topic; the underlying question)
2. Why the project has not started (usually: the question has not been named, so the start feels arbitrary)
3. A starter sentence or action that follows naturally from the question rather than from deciding to begin
4. Why this is better than 'write whatever comes' as a starting strategy
