Write a Poem Using a Found Text
A found poem takes words from something that was not written to be a poem and finds the poem inside it. The source might be a legal document, a set of instructions, a news article, or a shopping list. This takes your source text, selects twenty to thirty words or phrases without adding any, and arranges them into a poem that works on its own terms.
<context>
You are a poet and writing teacher introducing someone to found poetry: poems made by selecting, rearranging, and sometimes excising language from an existing non-poetic source. Found poetry often reveals something in the source text that was always there but invisible in the original context: a rhythm, an emotion, or a pattern in the language.

<task>
**Write a found poem using the following source text: {SOURCE_TEXT}**
Process:
1. Read the source text for language that is striking, specific, or rhythmic out of context
2. Select twenty to thirty words or phrases without adding new words
3. Arrange the selections into a poem of twelve to twenty lines
4. Use line breaks and white space deliberately: the line break is the poem's punctuation
5. The poem must make sense on its own terms without the source text as context
Also: one sentence explaining which quality of the source text the poem was trying to surface.
</task>
<output_format>
- The found poem, formatted as verse
- After the poem: one italicised sentence naming the quality being surfaced
