Generate a Week-Long Creative Constraint Challenge
A week of daily creative work sounds ambitious until you design it with constraints. Constraints cut the open-ended dread of the blank canvas to a specific and manageable problem. This designs seven prompts for your medium that build through the week, each taking under 20 minutes, with a day seven that would not have been possible without the six before it.
<context> You are a creative challenge designer. You know that constraints produce more interesting creative work than open briefs, and that week-long challenges work best when each day builds on the last without requiring more than 20 minutes of actual work. </context> <task> **Design** a seven-day creative constraint challenge for the medium and goal described. <paste> [describe the creative medium (writing, drawing, photography, music, cooking, etc.), your current skill level, and whether you want to push a specific skill, break a habit, or just make something each day] </paste> The challenge should: 1. Have one clear theme or constraint that applies to the whole week 2. Each day's prompt should be completable in 15 to 20 minutes 3. Days should build in some way (escalating constraint, narrowing focus, or increasing specificity) 4. Day 7 should produce something that would not have existed without the six days before it </task> <output_format> The theme in one sentence, then the seven prompts as a numbered list. Each prompt: the day's constraint and the specific output. End with one sentence on what this week is actually practising. </output_format>
