Compare Two Drafts: What Changed and Was It Worth It?

You've rewritten the same paragraph and now you can't tell if the second version is better or just different. Paste both. This gives you an editor's read on every change: what moved, whether it helped clarity, rhythm or impact, and a flat verdict on which to keep or how to splice the best of each.

I have two versions of the same passage. Compare them as an experienced editor would.

For each significant difference, tell me:
1. What changed (be specific: word choice, sentence structure, detail added/removed)
2. Whether the change improves, weakens, or has no effect on: (a) clarity, (b) rhythm, (c) emotional impact
3. Your verdict: keep Draft A, keep Draft B, or take a specific element from each

End with an overall recommendation: which draft is stronger and what one further edit would push it over the line.
