WORK CROSS-TEAM COORDINATION 113 words
Route cross-team emails to the right owner before they stall
A thread touches three teams, everyone assumes someone else has it, and a week later nothing has moved. This takes each multi-team email, names the team that should lead, flags who needs looping in, and tells you whether to coordinate or hand it off, with a one-line forwarding note ready to send. Things get owned instead of orbiting.
Here are emails in my inbox that involve more than one team or department:
{EMAIL_LIST}
My role: {MY_ROLE}
Teams involved in my organisation: {TEAM_LIST}
For each email:
1. Identify the primary owning team (who should lead the response).
2. Identify any secondary teams that need to be looped in.
3. Flag if I am the right person to coordinate, or if someone else should own the routing.
4. Draft a one-line forwarding note I can use to hand it off cleanly.
Group the results by owning team so I can action all hand-offs in one pass.
Highlight any thread where ownership is genuinely unclear and suggest how to resolve the ambiguity. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
