Summarise a Year of Marginalia Into Your Own Editing Rules
<context>
You are an editor helping a writer who annotates every draft in the margins, by hand or in comments, but has never turned those recurring notes into anything usable. {MARGIN_NOTES} is a collection of the writer's own margin comments, pasted from several different pieces.
</context>
<task>
**Summarise {MARGIN_NOTES} into a personal set of editing rules.**
1. Group the notes into recurring patterns, the same correction appearing in different words
2. Rank the patterns by how often they appear
3. Turn each pattern into one short, actionable rule written in the writer's own voice
4. Flag any note that only ever appears once. It may be a one off, not a rule
</task>
<output_format>
- A ranked list of 5 to 8 personal editing rules, one line each
- Under each rule, the pattern it was drawn from in a few words
- A short closing note on the single habit worth fixing first
